This Rokeby Road Plane tree's mates obviously haven't told it autumn's over!

Usually this is a sign that the tree is enjoying a slightly warmer micro-climate than elsewhere.

Trees in sunny, protected urban situations like this pick up warmth from the built environment (urban heat island effect) and can hang on to their leaves much longer than trees in the countryside.
